2025 was certainly the year of artificial intelligence: virtually every sector has been impacted by this new technology, which will undoubtedly become increasingly revolutionary in the years to come. Despite this, it’s clear that in some cases, AI has simply been a trend to jump on, with few and vague ideas about how to use it to achieve concrete results; but there’s no question that its potential is enormous, both in terms of process optimization and revenue growth.
What we’ve noticed, however, is that AI risks undermining the foundations of logical thinking by causing people to lose the habit of reasoning. Skills that at one time seemed more like mere embellishments on a resume—such as problem-solving and lateral thinking—are now beginning to be sorely missed.
Problem-solving is gradually being replaced by prompt writing: the solution is no longer found by the most experienced person, or the shrewdest, or the one with the right intuition, but by the one who knows how to ask the best question of artificial intelligence. And this is certainly a negative trend that we need to pay close attention to right now. The abandonment of logical thinking is a tragedy for society—understood both as a business and as the social fabric: we must not lose the habit of using our brains to seek solutions; we must not forget the importance of direct experience, human relationships, and creativity, lulled by the convenience of a quick, artificial answer.
This is a point worth considering both for the professionals of the future—who, in some cases, were born and raised with the support of artificial intelligence—and for those of the present (or the past), who have a duty to pass on a kind of professional legacy.
Drama aside, AI is a game-changer: speed, new possibilities, and enormous power—all just a click away. If used intelligently and thoughtfully, it will certainly help us broaden our horizons.
We can say that we are satisfied with how we have used it across all our business divisions. However, we have been very careful not to get carried away by our enthusiasm, deliberately slowing down the adoption of artificial intelligence by relying on tested, proven, and safe methods and processes—which, until recently, have been the correct approach to innovation.
With this in mind, we have developed and continuously improved Yaleo LMS, our corporate training platform: e-learning is, in fact, a sector that can certainly benefit from artificial intelligence, thanks to its ability to deliver training that is more inclusive, scalable, and engaging.
We have developed—and continue to develop—two technological solutions that are extremely beneficial to the community. SkyMood is a system for real-time detection and analysis of structural damage, which speeds up current processes and ensures greater infrastructure safety. Urban Event Hub, on the other hand, aims to support the management of large urban complexes—especially during unforeseen situations—in order to optimize the use of resources.
The year 2025 was an important time to reflect on the impact of AI, particularly on the communications and digital marketing sectors. It is clear, in fact, that the very first popular application of AI was dedicated to content creation. At first, it seemed almost like a revolution, but as 2025 progressed, it began to feel more like a step backward: although well-conceived, the content generated by AI is starting to become repetitive in form and style; a prompt can change the content, but the feeling is that it always lacks that human touch which—at least for now—gives content that extra something. Who knows: perhaps centuries of enlightened literature, extraordinary masterpieces, and creative geniuses have imprinted our brains in a way that a prompt simply cannot satisfy.
The risk is that you'll quickly become trite and won't be able to turn back.
We are therefore approaching 2026 with these insights in mind and building on what we have achieved in 2025 (and in previous years). We expect it to be a fast-paced year, full of new developments, opportunities, and risks—a year that will certainly be stimulating, which we will tackle with confidence in our abilities but with an open mind to embrace the most interesting new developments.
