Today – as every day – we cannot ignore the deep wounds that mark our time. Wars, conflicts, and genocides continue to strike innocent people, depriving them of the most basic right: to live with dignity.
Peace is not an abstract concept. It is bread, water, care, and future. It means being able to grow up without bombs and hunger erasing every hope. Yet too often these fundamental rights are denied — trampled upon.
As Viasky, we cannot remain indifferent. We are deeply concerned and saddened by the ongoing wound to human dignity, and we feel the responsibility to stand with those who suffer, supporting every initiative that seeks to ease pain and restore hope.
Today we reaffirm a simple yet necessary commitment: not to close our eyes. Peace is built through concrete acts of solidarity and the courage to face injustice without turning away.
Only in this way can the International Day of Peace become a promise — and, above all, an action.
